I had a house that would not sell. One evening I was on holidays down south with a friend. I went outside to sit under the stars in the cool night air. All of a sudden a ghost gum I was looking at turned in to a man in a white robe. "I have come to tell you something," he said. I just sat there not knowing what to do. Finally I said, 'What do you want to tell me?" "Do not worry...I have been sent to tell you that before the third day is up your house will be sold." With that he vanished. My friend thought I had been drinking. But my house sold on the third day. Who he was or where he came from I know not. My sister went to visit my grandmother who was in hospital. My grandmother hugged her which was something she never did. "I had a visitor today," she told her. "I don't know who he was, but he suddenly appeared at the foot of my bed. He told me to say my good-byes for tomorrow, as he is taking me to see my mother." My sister said, "Your mother has been dead for fifty years...no, fifty one years." When my sister left she spoke to the nursing sister about my grandmother. "Don't worry, she will make her one hundred and seventh birthday, and the next after that too," replied the nurse. But the next day two months before her birthday he came and took her to see her mother.
